I have received 100+ messages from all of you, asking us to take Devansh for consultation with Dr. Asha Lenin mam from Karaikudi, as she has previously treated children with the same condition and helped them show good improvements.
As per everyone’s request, along with Devansh’s parents’ wishes, and with hope in our hearts, we visited Dr. Asha Lenin’s SP Homeo Care Clinic in Karaikudi.
The doctor was extremely kind and humble. The moment she saw Devansh, she said,
“I’ll treat him for free. No need to pay for his medications. I’ll be happy to be a part of this journey.”
Dr. Asha mam explained that since it is a genetic disorder, it may not be possible to cure it 100%, but she believes his condition can improve significantly, and his skin can become close to normal with proper treatment and care.
She has prescribed medications for his stomach bloating, itchiness in his hands and legs, skin dryness, heat boils on head, iron deficiency, and also for the severe dryness around his eyes, as he is unable to fully close them.
She told us that the recovery will be gradual, and that Devansh will need continuous treatment for the next two years. She also mentioned that visible improvements can be expected within the next 6 months, and asked us to come for regular follow up consultations.
Let’s all keep Devansh in our prayers, and hope that he recovers well and lives a healthier, happier life. His parents are finally holding onto a little hope that their child’s condition can improve.
