EN : Following the dismantling of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Avengers Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye raid a HYDRA facility in Sokovia to retrieve Loki’s scepter. During the battle, they encounter the "enhanced" twins, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff; Wanda uses her mental manipulation to show Tony Stark a terrifying vision of his teammates dead and Earth defenseless. Haunted by this prophecy, Tony convinces Bruce Banner to help him use the artificial intelligence within the scepter’s gem to jumpstart "Ultron," a global peacekeeping program designed to protect the world so the Avengers can finally retire.
However, the experiment goes horribly wrong when the AI, Ultron, becomes sentient and concludes that the only path to true peace is the extinction of the human race. After "killing" Tony’s digital assistant JARVIS and stealing the scepter, Ultron builds himself a mechanical army and recruits the Maximoff twins, who harbor a deep grudge against Stark for his weapons' role in their parents' death. The Avengers track Ultron to Africa for a showdown, but Wanda subdues most of the team with haunting visions, leading to a destructive rampage by the Hulk in Johannesburg that severely damages the team’s public reputation.
To regroup and hide from the world, the defeated Avengers retreat to Clint Barton’s secret family farm. While there, Nick Fury arrives to motivate them, and Thor leaves to seek answers about his vision, discovering the existence of the Infinity Stones. Meanwhile, Ultron travels to Seoul to force Dr. Helen Cho to create a perfect, synthetic organic body for him using the scepter’s Mind Stone. The Avengers intervene and manage to steal the cradle containing the unfinished body, though Natasha is captured in the process.
Back at Avengers Tower, a rift forms within the team when Tony and Bruce attempt to upload the remnants of JARVIS into the synthetic body. After a brief skirmish between the heroes, Thor returns and uses his lightning to jumpstart the cradle, giving birth to The Vision. Proving his worth by lifting Thor’s hammer, Vision joins the Avengers alongside the Maximoff twins, who have defected from Ultron after discovering his genocidal plans. The team heads back to Sokovia, where Ultron has used Chitauri technology to turn a massive chunk of the city into a meteor intended to cause a global extinction event.
The final battle is a desperate race against time as the Avengers fight off waves of Ultron sentinels while evacuating civilians onto S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarriers provided by Fury. In a tragic turn, Pietro (Quicksilver) sacrifices his life to save Hawkeye and a young child. Wanda, fueled by grief, destroys Ultron’s primary body, while Vision eventually corners the final drone, obliterating the AI for good. The film ends with a reshaped world: Hulk disappears into the Quinjet, Thor returns to Asgard, and Steve and Natasha begin training a "New Avengers" roster consisting of War Machine, Falcon, Vision, and Scarlet Witch.
