When it comes to our psychological state regarding movies, a crucial concept to understand is the "surrender mindset." Fans don't just view a film as a passive movie; much like playing a computer game where the protagonist merges with us in a way, cinema evokes a similar immersion. For instance, when playing games like Call of Duty or GTA, because the protagonist is under our control whether driving cars or completing missions—we feel a close connection, as if we are doing everything ourselves. The exact same thing happens with cinema; there is no logical difference here, folks.

Much like treating external rivalries as our own, we often internalize box-office competition as a personal battle. When movies starring two top stars release at different times, fans start inexplicably hating and competing with each other. Our minds naturally love such high-energy games. Over the long term—spanning 5, 10, or 15 years—this evolves into the game of "fan loyalty," gradually becoming an inescapable part of our daily lives. We need to grasp this subtle nuance, folks!

View cinema strictly as entertainment. As the author of this blog, I watch and enjoy movies, but I would never blindly idolize actors without question, nor would I ever view them as members of my own family. Please embrace this immense maturity, folks! While I might really admire the character design of Tommy Vercetti when playing GTA Vice City, I can never claim that character is my real-life identity or who I am. Saying something like that makes zero sense; it amounts to absolute nothingness.
