தேர்ந்தெடுத்த துறைகளில் பெரிய அறிவுத்திறன் மிக்க நண்பர்களாக படிக்கும் காலத்தில் இருந்தே நெருக்கமான நண்பர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர் கெவின் , ராப் , மற்றும் சாம், இப்போது படிப்பு முடிந்ததும் வேறு வேறு நிறுவனங்களில் வேலை பார்த்துக்கொண்டு இருந்தாலும் நட்பு விட்டுப்போகாமல் இருக்க விடுமுறை நாட்களில் சந்தித்து ஒரு தனியான இடத்தில் FOOLPROOF என்ற ஸ்மார்ட்டான விளையாட்டை விளையாடுகிறார்கள். இது ஒரு கிரிக்கெட் , ஃபுட் பால் மற்றும் டென்னிஸ் போன்ற விளையாட்டு கிடையாது. ஒரு நிறுவனத்தை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து அந்த நிறுவனத்தின் அனைத்து தகவல்களையும் மொத்தமாக சேகரித்து அந்த நிறுவனத்தில் கொள்ளையடிக்க முடியுமா முடியாதா என்று ஒரு பெரிய பிளான் போடுவார்கள். இவர்கள் பிளான்தான் போடுவார்களே தவிர செய்ய மாட்டார்கள். ஆனால் இப்படி ஒரு பயங்கரமான விளையாட்டுதான் இவர்களின் வாழ்க்கையில் பேராபத்தாக வந்து முடிகிறது, இன்டர்நேஷனல் அளவில் மிகவும் கொடூரமான கொள்ளைக்காரனாக இருக்கும் லியோ ஜில்லெட் (பேடாஸ்மா !!) யாருக்குமே பயப்படாத ஒரு கொள்ளையடிப்பவர்களின் ராஜா. இவருக்கு இந்த மூன்று நண்பர்கள் வைர விற்பனை நிறுவனத்தை கொள்ளையடிக்க வேண்டும் என்று விளையாட்டாக போட்டு வைத்த பிளான் நகல் கிடைத்துவிடுகிறது. இவர்களின் பிளான் பயன்படுத்தி பல கூடி மதிப்புள்ள வைரங்களை ஒரே நாள் இரவில் ஆட்டைய போட்டு விடுகிறார் லியோ (லியோ இஸ் அ பேட்டாஸ் !!) , இவர்கள் மூன்று பேரும் இந்த அளவுக்கு பிளான் போடுவதில் திறமை உள்ளவர்களாக இருப்பதால் அடுத்த நாளே இவர்களை மிரட்டி அவருடைய குழுவில் சேர்த்து பின்னணியில் ஒரு பெரிய கட்டிடத்தை கொள்ளை அடித்து பல ஆயிரம் கோடி பணம் மதிப்பு உள்ள ஆவணங்களை கொள்ளை அடிக்கவேண்டும் என்று லியோ இவர்களை கட்டாயப்படுத்துகிறார். இந்த மூன்று நண்பர்களும் லியோவிடம் இருந்து எப்படி தப்பித்து சென்றார்கள் என்பதுதான் படத்தின் மீதிக்கதை. கனடாவில் 2003 களில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட இந்த படம் உண்மையிலேயே ரொம்ப புத்திசாலித்தனமான திரைக்கதையை கொண்டுள்ளது. தேவை இல்லாத ரொமான்ஸ் , ஆக்ஷன் , டிராமா என்று எதுவுமே இல்லாமல் பாயிண்ட் என்னவோ அதுதான் படம் மொத்தமும் இருக்கிறது. இந்த படத்தை மிஸ் பண்ணாமல் பாருங்கள்.
